Kantar Media announces the appointment of Giselle Bodie to the new position of Chief Operations Officer for Media Monitoring and Evaluation in Europe.

Reporting to Jean-Michel Portail, CEO of Kantar Media Intelligence Europe, Giselle will work closely with the local managers in the UK, Germany, France, Ireland and Spain and with other international staff to implement the company's strategy. This will include piloting a new approach and standards for media evaluation with specific emphasis on delivering greater added value, higher impact and developing innovative programs.

Giselle will work with the new international Insight Team which will focus on multi-national organisations with a need for multi-market, value-added and social media services. In particular she will be responsible for the Cymfony roll-out in Europe.

Giselle has substantial experience in the management of media intelligence service organisations. She was previously MD of one of the leading multinational companies in this field and prior to that the MD of a leading media evaluation consultancy in the UK. She will be based in London.
